New Steampunk Items and Spooky Items

Todays new items includes the additions of the Steampunk furniture, located in Zimbara Outback. With this we have many new things to decorate our dens with:

In my opinion, they are a little pricey, but most of them are animated so I think that can sort of explain the amount of gems they are... maybe. What do you think? Are they expensive? 

Along with this, we have many new Spooky den items due to Halloween approaching quickly! What are your plans for Halloween? Surprisingly, I haven't seen a lot of Halloween parties or haunted houses a lot in Jamaa, but I'm sure with the arrival of these items thats sure to change.

This Haunted Bookshelf is also animated, with the book poking out and being moved in anothers place.

Thankfully, it appears these items are a bit cheaper except for the Haunted Bookshelf, but I'm positive it costs more because of the nice bit of animation it has. It looks just like a ghost is searching for a good read! What are your opinons on this new furniture?

Bitter Sweets Halloween Adventure - Helpful Tip

As you play the special Halloween adventure, Bitter Sweets, you may notice that amount of candy you need starts growing from the hundreds (it doesn't grow by just 100 pieces every time, either, it can go up by even 300+) and can get a little bit overwhelming or just... too time consuming. Maybe you are like me, and don't have much patience? Well, here's a very simple, easy, but extremely helpful tip just for you.

If you bring up the map, you'll notice its conveniently the shape of a phantom. Very festive. Anyways, you will need to bring up the map and look at the tentacles. The easiest location to complete this is the top left tentacle, or where the blue dot is at. Why, you ask? Here's the "secret"...

See those purple, bubbly looking things? Some odd phantom doo-dad I can't remember the name of? Yeah. Those bad boys. These are the phantoms wrongdoing, but for this adventure, they are actually pretty helpful. If you attack them, this happens...

Candy and gems will take their place! This is very useful seeing as these purple phantom doo-dads are all over this tentacle of the map and quickly respawn. It makes getting the candy easy! You don't even really need to chase phantoms anymore at this point. Or atleast, I didn't.

Leaving the Shelves - #1

Hey jammers! Today we will be starting another new segment, this time called Leaving the Shelves. Its will be weekinly posted and is for jammers who want a item before it goes or before it may go rare after removal from the shops. This will be for both den and clothing.

So lets get started!

This week, we have a few items already beginning to countdown their days left. One of them includes the Bumblebee Bag Chair, which is definitely cute, and the Beekeeper Hive, a must have for any bee enthusiast or pet bee owner. The Bumblebee Bag Chair has only 2 days left and the Beekeeper Hive is sadly on its last day the time this post was written (October 26th)!

The Horseshoe Set and Croquet Set will also be leaving soon for all you yard game lovers! The Horshoe Set has a good 10 days left and the Croquet Set has 8 left. Get them before they leave stores and throw a yard party at your den!

Flower wise, the lovely Marigold and Marigold Bouquet will be leaving too, both in 6 days! Get them while you can.

The removal of the bigger-than-life Giant Magnet is also near, with 3 days left, and the treasure hunters dream item, the Chest of Gems, has 6 days left. Maybe get a chest or two and throw a treasure hunting party or pirate party! Have a good time with these items before they leave stores.

The elegant and beautiful Rose Table will also soon be making an exit, this time in 5 days. It's perfect for any garden themed or oriented den, or for anyone that wants a certain princess/fairytale look to their place! 

And finally, there is the soon removal of one of the best items to ever come to Jamaa (in my opinion, of course)... the Pink Flamingo. I've had so much good times with these darn flamingos, it's kind of surprising and/or sad. These flamingos are one of my favorites when it comes to den items!

Not to mention, I may have or may have not made a special flamingo shrine dedicated to these pink feathered friends...

I have no regrets.

Rare Item Monday - Purple and Yellow Pumpkin Mask

This weeks Rare Item Monday is this purple and yellow Pumpkin Mask! It's a nice lilac color paired with a deeper yellow; it almost makes it look like the pumpkin has bad teeth - yuck! But despite that, these two colors make a nice scheme. 

The purple and yellow Pumpkin Mask is only available this Monday for a modest 450 gems, so get it while you can!

Jammers of the Month - Beginning of the Blog Special

Since this is the beginning of AJL and the first Jammer of the Month, we thought it would be nice to turn this into a little special of sorts and feature two jammers! These two jammers, you ask? None other than xKoharu and wolfywithhorns. 

I met these two jammers through previous friends of mine, and I couldn't be happier that I met them. Kohu, as I call her, is very kind and hilarious (she can literally make anything amusing; that or I have the worst sense of humor in existence). Wolfywithhorns is also very kind and is such a nice friend to have; he is always there for you ready to listen and isn't hesitant to try and help you resolve your troubles. Both of them are trustworthy and amazing pals, thus earning them the title Jammer(s) of the Month!

The Start of The Animal Jam Ledger

Hello all! Welcome to The Animal Jam Ledger, and also thank you for visiting. Our goals for this site are few but important - one, to bring the news and updates of Animal Jam to you and provide info on them accurately, and two, to provide helpful tips and material for any jammer. We hope to do our best for one of the best - the Animal Jam community! 

For now, we have no set dates for posts. I guess you could consider this our sort of testing stage... expect changes in format and so on for the while and thanks again for viewing us!
